<jsocol> I hope this library is a s full-featured as the last.
<jsocol> I hope the VCS is as flexible as git.
<jsocol> I hope to see my friend and review his code.
<jsocol> I hope. -

* rdalal goes to get cheese
<willkg> the funny thing about being in the same office is that rdalal says he's going to go get cheese and then i can look up and watch him go get cheese.
<willkg> at home i just assume he actually goes to get the cheese.
<jsocol> that's awfully trusting
<rdalal> to be fair
<rdalal> i never joke about going to get cheese
<mythmon> jsocol: well, it doesn't really affect me either way. if he gets cheese, he gets cheese, if not, oh well.
<jsocol> cheese is not a joking matter
<willkg> i'm not so sure. i think there are some stiff ramifications about saying one is going to get cheese but not actually doing it.
<willkg> i think if i found out a co-worker did such a thing, i'd have serious trust issues.
* mythmon is highly tempted to claim to go get cheese, and come back with a banana.
* willkg gasps!
<jsocol> both yellow? -

<Cww> Rik: you assume I know how to code anything.
<Cww> except perl scripts (I'm a regexp god!)
<Rik> now that's scary
<jsocol> stand back! I know regular expressions!
<ednapiranha> jsocol: put it down.
<ednapiranha> and back away.
* ashort stands back, so as to not get any on himself :)
<morgamic> If you have a problem then add regular expressions you now have two problems.
<ednapiranha> morgamic!
<morgamic> !
<craigcook> regular expressions: you're playing with matches
<wenzel> wah pun alarm
<craigcook> alarm? pun award!
<craigcook> I'm damn proud of that one
<craigcook> (that I totally ripped off from someone else...)
<ednapiranha> irregular reservation
* morgamic claps sarcastically for craigcook
<craigcook> I'll take it.
<jsocol> craigcook: wow, oh wow, wow
<jsocol> I didn't even get that -

<nigelb> hahahaha
<nigelb> my friend just did this.
<nigelb> He ordered 2000 stickers printed with QR code.
<nigelb> The QR code links to a certain Rick Astley song.
<Boozeniges> lol
<davedash> haha
<Boozeniges> and we thought QR codes were good for nothing!
<davedash> that's brilliant
<nigelb> Excellent use of QR codes right there!
<ashort> nigelb: i hope they are in a variety of sizes, so they fit over QR codes on ads/posters
<nigelb> He plans to stick it over all qr codes on advertisements...
<nigelb> ashort: exactly!
<davedash> ashort: +1
<willkg> nigelb: that's awesome!
<jsocol> nigelb: amazing +1 -

<ubernostrum> But I'd be inclined to declare it undefined behavior.
<ubernostrum> And thus not safe to rely upon.
<Rik> thanks ubernostrum
<ubernostrum> If you try this and a unicorn leaps out of your monitor and gores you, don't say I didn't warn you.
<ubernostrum> Undefined behavior really does mean *anything* can happen.
<ashort> Rik: take pics
<jsocol> so _that's_ why the unicorn/pegasus is pink
