<Tanner> we pay like $225 for 1500 minutes, 5 lines, unlimited night/weekend minutes, free roaming, and unlimited sms
<Tanner> and insurance on 3 of the phones
<zzxc> Tanner: insurance on the phones? Just put that money into a phone replacement fund, and you'll save lots of money in the long run.
<Tanner> zzxc: yet they manage to make it seem like a good deal
<zzxc> Tanner: the wireless industry attracts talented salespeople
<Tanner> "If anything happens to your phone, you just pay $50 to get a brand new phone"
...
<Tanner> or, $80 for the same phone that may have a scratch or two on it with no insurance or activation fee
<zzxc> Tanner: but you pay a $50 deductible, so the actual insured value is $30.
<zzxc> on average, how many phones do you break per year?
<Tanner> zero.
<zzxc> For $420, you should be breaking 1.2 phones per month -

<MindstormsKid> only 300ms more than the for(){} without let (a = a){}
<MindstormsKid> (1660ms for a 1mil-length array)
<zzxc> It shouldn't add overhead if the browser natively supports the behavior. (Of course it's slow on IE, but then again so is everything)
<TMZ> lol -

<Cww> did we ever get a search redirection article?
<zzxc> http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Searches+are+redirected+to+another+site
<cilias> Cww: you wrote it. :-)
<cilias> It's like me reporting bugs that are dupes of ones I've already reported. :-) -

<zzxc> mzz: fireboat?
<mzz> zzxc: I use that because firebot (sp?) told me it prefers that spelling
<firebot> Suggestions for 'firebot': firebote, fireboat, forebitt, firepot, firebolt, foreboot, firebed...
<mzz> also, it conveniently ignores anything I say that way
<mzz> oh, it changed
<mzz> I'll start calling you firebote then -
